DESCRIPTION:Western New Mexico University hosts the return of the CLAY Fest
 ival in Silver City\, a celebration of the earth\, art\, and the community
  that binds them together. The CLAY Festival celebrates clay\, mud\, and e
 arth as the common ground of New Mexico’s culture and history. From June
  4 to June 20\, the WNMU campus and the surrounding community will be mold
 ed into a vibrant hub with a diverse array of events designed for artists\
 , collectors\, families\, and lifelong learners:\n\n\n 	\nHands-On Worksho
 ps: Refine your skills with masterclasses led by world-renowned ceramicist
 s (June 15–20).\n\n 	\nExhibitions: Visit the WNMU Museum and local gall
 eries to view contemporary and historical works\, including the iconic Mim
 bres collection.\n\n 	\nEvents + Programming: Enjoy multiple events and pr
 ograms like The CLAY Market where you can shop for one-of-a-kind functiona
 l and sculptural pieces from top clay artists (June 20–21) and more.\n\n
